Formed in 1992, by Sharon Burke and Jerome Hamilton, with a vision of bringing professionalism to the Jamaican entertainment industry, the company has grown into a recognised leader, satisfying the needs of the entertainment consumers and producers as well.

Throughout its existence, the Solid Agency client portfolio has read like a who's who of the entertainment world, with artistes including Shaggy, Third World, Bounty Killa, Voicemail, Barrington Levy, Aidonia, Freddie McGregor and Admiral Bailey.

In the field of special events, the company has been affiliated with the production of the major Reggae festivals and special projects in Jamaica as well as in the wider Caribbean, beginning in 1995, when Solid Agency was contracted to produce the Mega-event, Reggae Sunsplash, in association with Synergy.

Solid Agency produces for the Jamaica Tourist Board the Jamboree in Central Park New York and in March 2001 International Artist Shaggy, Platinum Party held at Chris Blackwells James Bond Beach. In December 2002 Solid Agency produces what was described by many as 'The Best Event Production' for the year 'Appleton Hot Shots' which featured musical giants such as Shaggy, Damian Junior Gong, Bounty Killer, Sean Paul and Wayne Marshall.

With a plethora of successful event staging under their belts such as 'Direct Connect' , 'Unite the People' and the 50 Cent concert 'Heatwave' Solid Agency currently handles the annual staging of events such as 'Reloaded', 'Overloaded' ,'Fully Loaded', 'Its Tha Party' and 'Saddle To The East'.

The company is also the exclusive agent for the MTV Caribbean channel Tempo and in October 2005 organized its launch featuring acclaimed local and international artistes like Jimmy Cliff Mario Winans, Musiq Soulchild, Luciano, Leftside and Esco, Assassin, Lady Saw, Cecile and I-Wayne.
